BUY A HOME

HOW WE HELP BUYERS

Our first order of business will be to meet with the Buyer to determine their home preference/needs, their budget, as well as their timeline to Purchase. We conduct our search based on these parameters. When you’ve found the property you’d like to call home and place an offer, we will walk you through every step of the process, educating you along the way. Whether it’s reviewing property disclosures or determining the appropriate asking price, we want you to feel confident in your decisions, after all, purchasing a home is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make.

Today’s buyers are tech savvy and resourceful, they know how to utilize the internet to research the do’s and don’ts of home buying. Our social media team will be active in posting content on our listings, maximizing exposure to probable buyers. We also incorporate online platforms such as Zillow, Realtor.com and Redfin.

Buying Experience

Buying Experience:

  1. Gather a down payment: One of the most important steps in buying property is figuring out your finances.
  2. Credit score: This three-digit number is a numerical summary of your credit report, a detailed document outlining how well you’ve paid off past debts.
  3. Get pre-approved for a mortgage: One of the most important steps in home buying. This is where you meet with a loan officer to get a better understanding of your financial background. This will help you target homes in your price range.
  4. Find a Real Estate Broker/Realtor: NexGen believes in the now and the future. We want to build long lasting relationships. At NexGen we have the Communication knowledge and expertise needed to help YOU.
  5. Shop for a property: This is the fun part! As a home buyer we will view homes together. Do you want a new home or do you prefer a fixer-upper? Make a list of your wants and needs and let’s get started shopping.
  6. Make an offer: Found your dream home. Then it’s time to make an offer to the seller. Make an offer on a property that a seller can’t refuse.
  7. Inspections and Appraisal: Inspections are where we examine the condition of the property from top to bottom. Appraisal is when the lender investigates the property to make sure it’s a good investment.
  8. Closing and Keys: Also known as settlement or escrow, it brings together all the parties of the real estate transaction: the buyer, seller and mortgage representative and others. Keys are provided when the closing is complete. Congratulations you’ve officially graduated from a home buyer to a homeowner!
